A sessão de monitorização esofágica mudou até a forma como eu discuto VM com a equipe. I went in 2024 and 2025, and honestly, I'd never seen respiratory physiology covered with this level of detail. I went back to the hospital applying stuff the next day. The esophageal monitoring session actually changed the way I talk about MV with my team.

Viajé desde Santiago hasta Recife para el congreso de 2025 y volví con una biblioteca mental nueva. El nivel de las discusiones sobre VILI, VIDD y monitorización avanzada no tiene paralelo con lo que tenemos acá. Lo recomiendo para cualquier kinesiólogo que se toma la UTI en serio. I flew from Santiago to Recife for the 2025 congress and came back with a whole new mental library. The level of discussions on VILI, VIDD and advanced monitoring has no parallel in what we have back home. I'd recommend it for any ICU physiotherapist who takes the field seriously.

A edição de 2025, com as discussões sobre Pendeluft e tomografia de impedância elétrica, foi uma das melhores atualizações em VM que eu fiz nos últimos anos. O VM Expert virou referência nacional, e com méritos. It's rare to find a Brazilian event that balances scientific rigour and didactic clarity like this one does. The 2025 edition, with discussions on Pendeluft and electrical impedance tomography, was one of the best MV updates I've done in years. VM Expert has become a national reference, and deservedly so.

No time wasted on generalities, every talk digs straight into the bones of mechanical ventilation. I went in 2024 and, no exaggeration, it was the best scientific content I consumed that whole year.

Llegué al VM Expert 2025 convencida de que tenía todo claro sobre driving pressure y stress index. El congreso me demostró que estaba bien lejos de eso. La comunidad que armaron alrededor del proyecto es otro de sus grandes valores, hay un espíritu de estudio permanente que uno no encuentra en otros congresos. I showed up at VM Expert 2025 convinced I had driving pressure and stress index all figured out. The congress proved me very wrong. The community they've built around the project is another of its great strengths, there's a spirit of constant study you don't find at other conferences.
